Painting 49 liter top box

I am wanting to paint my 49 liter top box to match my bike. Does anyone know how to remove the BMW logo on the back of the box?

Various means have been described around the various forums. Some like to use dental floss to slide under the emblems and cut the adhesive that way.

Randy's method works, but use a hair dryer to get the disc and/or saddlebag lid warm. Makes it easier, and sometimes you get lucky and it pops right off.
