2005, R1200RT, Valve noise?

Several months ago I performed the Valve Adjustment as described in the HEXHEAD Tech section. Used .30mm gauges for exhaust and .15mm gauge for the intakes. All went well and I double checked my work. Ever since, I have noticed a pronounced tick from the left cylinder. So, I purchased the VonBaden video and METICULOUSLY performed the procedure again, literally following Jim's video step by step; Including checking the rocker arm endplay.

The tick is still there... :banghead
Is this normal?

Any thoughts are much appreciated

injector tick

Shield the injector with your hand and see if the ticking goes away. An injector can be pretty loud.

Sounds lower in the engine

I tried muffling the injector the best I could without removing any of the fairing.
Listening around the engine though, it definitely sounds like it's coming from lower than the injector.

I'll do that!
Thanks Jim.

BTW, I'm enjoying your R1200 Maintenance video, very helpful!
