2012 Mileage Contest

Ends tonight at midnight, how many miles are those of you who entered turning in. I'm new to BMW and purchased my first one, a 2012 R1200RT on April 13 with 7 miles on it. Mileage today unless I ride a few more is 22,032. I have really enjoyed the bike so far with trips to the west coast, Wyoming a couple of times, Texas hill country, Arkansas twisties, and exploring a lot of roads in OK. I had hoped to get 24K but had to cancel a trip I had planned to NC last week. I'm no where near the high mileage guy last year but not too bad for a new guy.

Congrats, that is a lot of miles in a year, and a great bike to do it on.

In the 6 month contest I rode 17,847 and my wife rode 12,035. I have been entering it since 89 and my wife 1990. The most I have ridden in the 6 months was in 09 when I rode 24,654 and my wife rode over 17,000 miles one year which I don't recall what year it was. Great riding on your RT!!!
