Got to go back into the (dealer's) shop and view a torn down engine yesterday afternoon. The crankshaft next to the transmission gears, lots of rags stuffed in.

Mechanic was going for a test ride at 9 this morning.

I assume for sale this afternoon.
 
If the work was done as per AG instructions by a certified BMW Tech, using German tools , BMW recommended fluids and German rags why would that be your assumption:dunno
 
Could have been an already-sold customer bike I suppose, but think it was simply a dealer stock bike. Because the work was performed as you note ... .
