Alpinestars CR-4 Gore-Tex XCR Boots

All,

I did a search on the forum for these boots but didn't see anything. I am considering these because along with an 80+ mile round trip commute and a good amount of walking during the commute every day, I wanted a boot that can do everything well.

I cam across these: http://www.alpinestars.com/shop/categories/moto/footwear/touringroad-riding/cr-4-gore-tex-xcr-boot/

They are "waterproof" and comfy to walk in and kind of look like normal hiking boots. I was wondering if anyone here uses these or wore them and can report on how they perform and fit.

Thanks in advance all and have a great 4th.
