I'm looking into all of my options and wonder if anyone has had any experience with movers who'll ship my K-bike from California to Vermont (vs. riding).

Thanks for your input!

As for hassle or quality, I find it good to have someone you know help get you pointed in the right direction.
Good luck, any questions, just ask. Gary

I've used 1 800 haul bikes a couple times now with good results.

The trucks have a lift to load the bikes. ( Another firm we used didn't, had to get a roll back wrecker, roll the sidecar rig off the truck onto the roll back, then roll it back unto the ground.)

They load the bike and tie it down, no need to palletize or crate.
