Searched the forum, but couldn't find anyhting. Sorry if this was addressed already somewhere:

Tried to take out the Navi IV from the K16 mounting this morning before going to work and couldn't. It seems stuck. Is there a release mechanism somewhere or a special technique to take it out?
Will have to resort to the owner's manual for instructions tonight, probably.

After pressing the dash button to cause the Nav IV to rise up (ignition on), reach behind the top if the unit, and press the tab just right of center toward the center -- that is the cradle's release tab. Once the release lightly "pops", you can pull the GPS forward/out.
