Help Please...BMW System 5 or 6 and Bluetooth communication - Sena SMH10

Hi,
I have a bmw system 5 (or 6) helmet. So full-face, flip up with internal sun visor.
(probably all the wrong lingo, but you get my drift).

question:
My friend has two Sena SMH10 communicators. got one on his Shoei helmet no problem.

when I went to put it on the BMW helmet, it interferes with the operating switch for the internal sun visor. Of course I'm not compromising on that.

any suggestions on how to install. If it is too far back, the boom mic won't' reach the front of the helmet.

I know there are communication devices for the BMW helmets, so it can't be too much of a mystery, but I am at a loss and would appreciate any thoughts that can help.

Want to be able to pair to my buddies SMH10 too.

thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Neil

You can get a different "helmet clamp" from Sena. The ones with a detached boom mic or internal mic let you position the Sena back father while putting the mic in the right place. There are two options:

The SMH-A0304 has a jack for earbud/headphones http://j.mp/SenaSMHA304
The SMH-A0302 has the standard in-helmet speakers http://j.mp/SenaSMHA302

Thanks everyone. I now know what to do.

Btw, anyone have pictures of their installation?
Just curious as to what it looks like.
