Last autumn I rode east across northern New Mexico, enjoying the sweeping, twisting, and mostly lonely curves of U.S. 64... from Tierra Amarillo to Taos, to Eagle Nest, the Cimarron Canyon, and then to Red River and Questa. Perhaps many of you have ridden the Enchanted Circle? Wonderful, totally wonderful. Anyway, finally got around to the editing and rendering the ride vids. if you want to re-ride these roads, or see what they are like...

From A on the map heading east is a recording of U.S. 64 sweeping up and over the high and lonely Carson National Forest...

From B on the map east to Angel Fire, is twisting U.S. 64. This is also the southern side of the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway...

Spent the night in Eagle Nest. In the minds of more than a few, the Cimarron Canyon to the east on U.S. 64 is the finest canyon on all of New Mexico. Early in the morning I rode east though the canyon, then turned around at the "C" on the map, and with the sun at the back pressed record. It is an outstanding riding canyon...

Then it was north on NM 38 through Red River and on to Questa. More than a few rallies declare Red River their home. This north side of the enchanted circle is worthy of your two wheels...
