Just wanted to say hello and thank you.
I lurked here for a bit as well as every other site I could find, prior to deciding on my 2012 R1200RT. My name is Webb Benninghoven, and my wife & I are in SW FL. I bought my bike about a month ago to use as my primary all arounder. I've had quite a few bikes over the years, but not one has made me smile as much as this. I am at about 4500 miles so far, and will have my first real service by the end of March. I LOVE my dealer, great experience would be a huge understatement, love the dealership & all the personnel there. But most important, I am having a really hard time pulling myself away from this super amazing bike. There really doesn't seem to be too much right out of the box that doesn't seem like it was custom made for me specifically. I guess if you have almost a hundred years to get it right, it's really hard to miss.
Anyway, to all of you, whether you know it or not, thanks for your opinions, your input, and your assistance to help me pick what for me is just the greatest set of wheels that I've ever sat upon.
