It's that time of year, again. I know the folks on the east coast are digging themselves out of a bunch of snow, but here in the SF Bay Area it is sunny and not very cold and not very wet. How sunny? Today I took my 6 year old grandson for a ride on the vintage bike to Alice's. Seems like eleventy-seven other riders had the same idea including a couple of MOA Ambassadors, Greg Hutchinson and Darryl Richman.

Anyway, the flowers. The Magnolia bushes in the back are often the first to show their stuff.

For the first time in 7 years, we have Bluebonnets in our own cactus garden.
Definitely one of the most colorful springs in the Big Bend of Texas!

Peaches, apples and plums should be budding/blooming this week.
 
My super hollyhock. 10 feet tall and still growing. It got so tall and top-heavy the wind blew it over, and I had to stake it back up.

We've never seen so many lush and different wildflowers in our desert in the Big Bend of Texas.
