Did a search but maybe I missed. Anyone using a Cee Baiiley Enhanced 18x18 inch windshield on their late model GS? Thanks for any input.

No, but have one on;

My GSA1200 is still with its bmw setup. Our KLR650 has CB Shield on it, however. Nice unit, well thought out, BUT it scraches REALLY easy. If I had a complaint, its this. Plastics, no two seem to be alike! My BMW stock shield is bomb proof, regarding scracthes and all, can't seem to hurt it. Rub a clean rag over the CB Shield and it scracthes, so be real careful. I'm a 50 year long rider, seen it all or almost! Randy

Scratches;

My poor english, sorry. Anyhow, no dig on CB Shields, I like mine a lot on the KLR. Their customer service is poor over the phone in my one time conversation with them. Care less attitude with the guy I spoke with, after sale chat I had with'em:(. Buy again?, probably...Randy PS; my after sale converse was about fibre optic lighting affect at nightime riding. ANY headlight bleedover(on the KLR) comes right UP the shield to its edges. Bothersome indeed. I blacked out the edges myself. CB had no interest!!!

Thanks for the replies. I will probably stop by Touringsport in Greenville NC soon to see if they have a demo set up I can try. I am currently using the stock GS shield with the Touratech clamp-on extention. Works Pretty well.

You may wish to;

My GSA1200 has the bigger stock shield many standard GSers have changed over to. I added the Laminar LIP to the GSA shield and WOW, a weiner! I did this a few years ago and haven't looked back, love it:). Randy. The Laminar LIP folks are in SCal and 85$ gets the best extension out there, imo...:usa PS; I had the Parabellum after shield for a while till I broke it in a fall and went back to stock with LLip added:). Best idea I've had in a while:)Randy
