Lodging in N. Georgia, on N. Carolina border??

This is in Blairsville, east and shade north of Blue Ridge and still on GA Hwy 515/US 76. The Lodge at Copperhead. I haven't been but have heard nice things.
Also up the road in Hiawassee there's a Ramada Inn that's on the lake and I have stayed there. They're motorcycle friendly with barrels of towels for wiping down your motorcycle. I stayed there for the GMR and we liked it. There are some "Mom & Pop" style motels in Hiwawassee also. You can't get much closer to NC and still be in GA in Hiawassee.

One of the others must be the The Lodge at the Peaks of Otter or the Big Lynn Lodge. I'd go for clean, cozy and quirky anytime.
At the Big Lynn we had neighbors one day who rode there HD's up on the BRP from Asheville in the rain. I know, they're going to be made to turn in their pirate costumes. We were sitting on the porch in the rain when other non motorcycling residents started asking about the bikes (each room has a reserved space) and of course about the K1200LT. The next thing we knew we had a group listening intently about motorcycles and asking questions from 3 couples; on 2 HD's and a Beemer. But when they heard we were riding from begining to end, we were the center of attention with the HD couples doing more bragging about us doing it than anyone was! Then that evening it dawned on me how that thunderstorm may have changed some opinions about motorcyclists.
