All I can say right now is WOW ... only put 90 miles on her today but what an amazing machine. Smooth shifting, incredible power and ride likes a dream.

Very different from my 2009 R1200RT. Love the sound of the engine ... much like a fine German sports car.

Today, November 5th is windy as hell here in Daytona Beach Shores FL. A "Nor-Easter" is blowing in. The additional weight of the GT demonstrated a highly stable ride in 20-30 MPH gusts along the ocean on A1A.

Will post additional information this week as I ride non-stop and also some photos too !

At this point ... the GT is AMAZING.

New K1600GT this Friday!!

Delivery of bike this Friday. Replaces my 2009 K1200LT
Weekend weather nearly perfect for riding.
 
Just delivered my new White/Grey GT to my garage in WA today. It replaces my beloved 04 R1150rt. The problem is I am stuck working in Hawaii for another month. It is torture. :banghead
 
Nice ride congradulations, the bike will be waiting for your return im sure, Im in wash also ,,,,we can help you ride it if need be ,,,lets hook up sometime I just recieved mine last week...matthew
