Spent this past weekend motoring (500 miles roundtrip) over to Galena, IL for the Northern IL BMW "Galena Campout."
Enjoyed good chilli Friday evening, along with pleasant company and plenty of refreshments.
Saturday I rode to Eagle Point park in Dubuque, IA for some scenic overlooks.
And the village of Galena is well worth a day's visit for shopping, sightseing and old-town warmth.
Held every year - consider attending.
