I am narrowing the purchase of a new jacket down to an Aerostitch Advanced or a Hein Gericke Timbuktu. Both seem to have comparable quality and are within the same relative price range. Does anybody have any pros or cons on them. Or, have I overlooked another brand other than First Gear that would be comparable? Thanks for your help.

I've always liked the look of the Timbuktu. And First Gear makes Hein Gericke, and I've liked the First Gear products that I've bought. Here's a nice review of the Timbuktu from NewEnough.com. Just open the page and scroll down to "Paul's Comments."
