swimming hole

In all seriousness, there's nothing better than real swimming hole. Any input from PA locals that are aware of any that you can ride to?

Bloomsburg/Catawissa is at a confluence, so there should be some local swimming holes somewhere. Head down Sycamore Rd east out os Catawissa, the stream there is pretty clear and shallow, so I am sure there is a local hang out. I have seen cars parked along the road, so they are swimming of fishing.

Sycamore was repaved a couple years ago, it is a good road.

Knoebels Swimming

Just thought I'd share this. If you don't mind spending $6 for a full-day swimming pass, Knobels in Elyburg, PA has a great swimming pool. We were just there two weeks ago. The pool is rather large and there are many different places to eat. It's an amusement park but parking and entrance to the park is free. There were a lot of BMW motorcycle riders there when we were there two weeks ago. It's about 25-30 minutes from the rally site.

South of the rally site or across the very large parking lot is Fishing Creek, they have a two swimming holes, one has a rope swing and the other is near the Covered Bridge down stream. Benton has a nice one, as you ride through town going north it will be on the right as you pass Rt 239 and cross a small bridge. It looks like a mill dam.

We just need a stock watering water spigot, a lawn sprinkler, and a kid's blowup swimming pool.

We figured that out in 1989 in - you guessed it - York, Pennsylvania.

It all showed up by Wednesday.

pool... R U sure

I love you guys but seeing you all at the pool not on my bucket list. You wouldn't want seem me either I'm sure...

We have pools and misting tents right on the rally grounds.

See you all soon!
