Barber Superbike Classic, 17-19 June 2011
A Salute to the Men and Women of the Alabama Army National Guard

The 5th of 9 Rounds of the 2011 AMA Pro American Superbike Championship season.

DonÔÇÖt miss all the excitement June 17-19 as the most dominant names in AMA Pro Racing return to Barber Motorsports Park for the 2011 Barber Superbike Classic! Tickets are available now in individual or 3-day packages and start as low as $10! Buy tickets now before prices increase!

... This year BMW will be represented by "San Diego BMW Motorsports" and their riders Steve Rapp, James Randolph, Jeremy Toye, Chris Trounson, and Gary Orr; "Team Iron Horse BMW" and their riders Chris Peris, and Tony Kasper; "Liberty Waves Racing" and their rider Eric Pinson' and "Foremost Insurance Pegram Racing" and their riders Larry Pegram.

After the recent race at Infenion, BMW is ranked as a Manufacturer is in 3rd Place with Suzuki in first and Yamaha in Second. This is pretty good when considering that BMW Motorrad isn't actually sponsoring a Team in the USA. Maybe this race will be the one to push BMW back on top and get BMW Motorrad to invest more in AMA Pro American Superbike Championship Racing.
