Greetings All
The Red Rock Mountian Campground http://www.redrockcampground.com/ will be open for motorcycle campers. Photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/62730586@N07/ The cost is $10 per motorcycle camper. The group camp area is close in size to Willville with satellite campsites around the group area (yes you can ride your GS bike to them). There are 13 cabins available starting at $50. These are the daily rates for any time of the year. RVs welcome. Covered MC parking for 40 bikes.
Womens bathhouse 3 shower 4 toilets, Mens bathouse 4 shower 3 toilets. I may have that backwards. The Red Rock Corner Store (570) 925-5648 is a 5 minute walk for great hoaiges (call ahead before you walk), they also have fuel. The Rickettes Glenn Hotel http://www.rickettsglenhotel.net/ is a two minute ride, they also sell six packs BEER to go :drink. The Ricketts Glen State Parkhttp://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/rickettsglen.aspx (NO BEER!:cry) is a three minute ride. The water falls, there are 22 of them, and they are the nicest little water falls you will find in the east. Bring your hiking shoes and camera gear.
Distance to BMWMOA Rally site gate is 27.1 mile about a 40 minute ride through Bloomsburg. Did it at 5:30 tonight, but I did stop at Turkey Hill Brewing for a very nice porter. Ride time is 33 munites. There are many ways to the rally site that could be alot of fun. There are 4 nice loops from The Red Rock Mountian Campground, 65 to 110 miles. I have not driven them all on the RT, but I will report has I do ride them. http://ridewithgps.com/users/32685 There are GS areas but I am but a lost soul with a RT and know not of dirt. I am sure there are local dual sport people in the area that could answer those questions.

west 076deg 18.189

If you can pitch a tent at Red Rock the cost is $10, no reservations needed EVER. That inclueds some of the nicest nicest pieces of asphalt in the state.
This would be a fine base camp for motorcycle training or smaller group rides, no matter dirt or the road slap.

There is a on site SmokeHouse BB-Q (Texas Style BAR-R-Q; 570 925 6962) that does very fine work:eat. If enough riders reserved a camping in the group site, Smokehouse might be able to open for a mid week crowd depending upon thier other cartering jobs.

If I sound like I am pumping Red Rock, well I am. What do I gain? Meeting each of you. This area has some of the nicest roads in the state, great eastern water falls, close to the BMWMOA 2011 Rally site (how shall we count the ways?) The best way into the Finger Lakes, best kept motorcycle secret in the state! Food, gas and beer you can walk to on a nice day. SmokeHouse is kick ass! No reservation needed for motorcycle tent camper, EVER. So if you are wondering. What shall I do if I am early for the rally. Then Red Rock could be your answer. After the rally to chill, then Red Rock could be your answer.

I would suggest a evening calling instead of email. Phone #570 925 5039
If you would like info not relate to camping at Red Rock Campground send me a PM.
Gee I hope i got all those links right?
Tony
