Music: Itunes converted to Zumo 550

I am trying to load music from itunes to my Zumo 550. Anything that has been purchased through the itunes store and downloaded will not decode and I get an error message regarding "possible DRM Restrictions". I'm using Media Monkey.

Does anyone have a suggestion to get around this? If not, does anyone have a suggestion for another music program that can decode itunes purchases?

My older Nano ipod is dying and the newer ones are entirely too small to use easily on the bike. Since I've paid for these songs, I should be able to listen to them using whatever I like, not just an ipod. :banghead

Any help is appreciated!

I bought this and converted everything to MP3 for my 665: http://www.ahamediasoft.com/
No, it isn't free but did a great job.
Here he comes, drops into the forum with a great 1st post. Welcome

you probably didnt realize it (well mainly cause I hijacked the thread) but there was an interesting discussion on this exact subject in the Schuberth Helmet thread: http://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread.php?p=663985#post663985

hope this answers some of your questions...

Chris
Thanks for some interesting info-I did miss this in the helmet thread. I got an I pod last summer and for the most part like it-however....it seems clunky and invasive and wants to do what it wants. The 2 posts here along with the start from Tracy have given me a lot of insight why :thumb Thanks, Gary
