I've been riding again now for the last 3 months after taking a 20 year break. Today is the day I realized I'm a rider again when in one trip I had a bird bounce off my helmet and a dog chase me for a block.
Its good to be back...lol

I know the feeling. It was also exactly a twenty year stretch for me, too, when I got my previous bike (R100 GSPD) in LA in 2008.

It's pretty much like walking or riding a bicycle---once you learn how you never really forget.

Watch out for the slow birds and have a ball!

Another member of the 20 year lay-off club. I bought a 94 R1100RSL in April, it was my wife's suggestion! I put 13000 miles on it by December. Then I bought an 04 R1150RT for better 2up comfort. That one just ticked over 7k since I've had it. I think I'm hooked again.

Krsy and me. Yes, she has a name.

I'm moving this off to Just Riding since that's where non-model specific posts about riding belong.

Everyone hang on..
