I enjoyed it. You have to suspend disbelief as it is a tall tale. Like some other movies lately, it borrows from video games to present an unusual reality. Harrison Ford's acting is a lot better in this one than some of his recent efforts.

I saw Winnie the Pooh with my daughter (6) on the weekend. We thought it was cool, but we are both a bit immature.
Going to see Captain America on Sunday with my son (8)...I'll keep you posted.

Cap'n America was actually pretty good... I saw it in 3D.
Not needed.
Tip: Stay to the end of the credits...

Proof Of Life and Sum Of All Fears

Saw "Proof Of Life" again last night and still love the flick. Russell Crowe is great and Meg Ryan is as juicy as ever.
Also watched Sum Of all Fears with Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman. This is also a great story, well acted and politically scary.:lurk

we saw C&A too

and LOVED it. entertaining all the way.

we recently watched the FIRST Mad Max on DVD. what a gas THAT was.

Check out "The Lucky Ones". This is a very good, thought provoking movie about returning soldiers from Iraq. Not about the war, though, and not particularly about soldiering. More a human relationship story.

Saw The Help Saturday. It's a good movie, but not quite as good as the book. The casting and directing could have been a little better, but overall it gets a B+.

Jessica Chastain is brilliant as Celia Foote; and Opie's daughter plays Hilly.

I downloaded the movie "Evel Knievel" staring George Hamilton on my iPad. I don't know if anyone remembers this movie but I remember seeing it in the theatre. No academy awards here but it is about Evel Knievel! How can that possibly be bad?

Contagion

Contagion, lots of top actors who are now heavier than when I last saw them except for Kate, but she die. The last I saw her she went down with the Titanic. :scratch

There was too many stories within the movie that makes it great for short based attention span people, those that grew up with MTV. Maybe if they stuck with one aspect I would have liked it.

Once upon a time I worked with nice viruses like this and I saw too many errors with the investigators, health staff and research fellows in this film. One scene the investigator ( Kate ) was using a patients bed as a desk, and she was wearing protective gear with a zipper in the front a big no no.

The most interesting part of the movie for me was that two people in the audience coughed during it. Then while exiting the theater a employee coughed into her hand then used a key pad to gain access to an office door with the same hand. I guess the movie did its job now that my hands are washed over and over till they are bleeding.

I think it will make a better Play Station Game than a DVD in time for Christmas.
