lowered F650

Does anyone know of an F650 GSA with a lowered frame for sale please? :clap

Actually, yes... my beloved is selling her 2003 GSL (that's factory lowered) with about 2200 miles on it as of this evening. Comes with added hand guards, tank bag and the BMW two-piece seat bags (never used).

Have to take some better pictures when the sun's out tomorrow, but in general it looks thusly:

You guys buying something else? Or is she moving to the back of the GS?

How ya been?

Hiya, Dave :wave

She signed the paperwork last night on a Monster 620 Dark - a little more her speed, quickens her pulse a bit... and I have to admit it's a real hoot to ride. Should take delivery of it this afternoon.

Now that this flu/chest cold/creeping crud stuff is on the decline (a full week, can you believe it?) we're embracing spring and looking forward to a real summer of riding. Can't wait.

How's yers?

F650GS bags question

- tank bag and the BMW two-piece seat bags (never used) -

How do they both look like and yould you sell them separate from the bike and for how much?

Scott, we had a F650 Fundoro (1997) with the BMW factory lowering kit which included shorter wishbones for the rear shock, shorter center stand, shorter side stand, and the forks lowered in the triple clamps. Is this similiar to what has been done to your wife's bike or is there more or less to it?

Is the bike still for sale and if so, how much are you looking to sell it for?

Howdy, Bug. Sounds about the same, though the triple clamp position looks normal... seems as though they really only changed the rear geometry of the bike.

She's asking $7500 for it as it's never really been ridden. That would break her even, I believe.

Two-piece seat bags.

I have those bags;
those turn to a big ruck sack (ryggsekk - in Norwegian) and I love it!

You'll be surprised how much you can put inside it!
And the bottom of the sack is a nice backrest! Perfect if you wear a back protector, as I always do.

....but you know the Scarver is faster, don't you? ;-) ;-)
And it got a belt... a clean belt! ;-) ;-)

Cheers!
Liv.
