New Member - BMW Paint Code Question

I recently purchased a 98 R1100RT and want to touch up a few dings in the paint. The bike is black and the paint code under the seat is 999. I've looked at listings on the web and have only been able to identify one color associated with that code, which is white. I'm reasonably certain the bike has never been repainted. Can anyone help me identify the appropriate color and provide a recommendation on where I can find touch up paint.

Thanks all. Great forum!

Touch up paint is no longer available from BMW (so I've been told) something to do with the danger of shipping it. I went to a local car paint store and had them scan the paint on my bike. they then mixed me some...

Call these guys. They are supposed to be the best when it comes to BMW paint knowledge.
