Hi to all.

I have a 2005 R1200RT which I bought new (yes, in 2005) but without a radio. Now I want to be able to hear music and audio books from my MP3 - but not via hearphones. I would like to install a set of adequate loudspeakers where the original ones go, and have some gizmo/amplifier that will take audio from my MP3/Iphone and play it through the speakers.
As the speakers will not be seen, they do not need to be pretty.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Helmet Speakers

I use helmet speakers, which I know you are against, but along with the loud pipes, the guy next to me blaring is quite a negative. I use earplugs and a J&M headset. Listen to music and Audiobooks all the time. Love it.
Good luck in your search.
