2 Women, 2 bikes, 17 States, 5 Provinces, 23 riding days, 11870 KM

Gas costs = $800 for both bikes.

Therefore, $400 per bike. That is dirt cheap considering how far you went. Are we ever lucky we have such ultra low gas prices.

These are numbers you'll be able to relate to. I spent 30 days riding overseas, putting 7996 kms on my R1150 GS Adventure and spent CA$1042. One fill-up ran me $64 for 27.2 liters. :eek

Nice pics BTW.

My compilation of our trip to sum it up....a bit long but it's slide show/videos as well of the entire trip all in one....skim it, watch it, don't watch it but I made it for memories!

best to watch in HD and full screen...

Wonderful RR! I enjoyed seeing the pix from Maine especially as we rode up thru there a couple years ago to Bar Harbor, on our way up to Nova Scotia. Thanks for sharing, and I'm looking forward to your RR on your upcoming adventure 2014!
