Wisconsin off-road trails w/camping?

OK, here goes. First post, new club member. This post has newbie written all over it. I'm headed to Door County Wisconsin from St Paul in Mid July. I'm looking to extend the adventure a bit by finding an overnight camping area in central to northern Wisconsin the has off-road trails and overnight camping. Something that's fun but reasonably tame for an ex-motocrosser (forty years ago) with creaky old bones. Any ideas?

In Wisconsin, if your bike is licensed and registered, you can legally ride any of the logging and forestry roads in the state, but no ATV trails unless they are so marked for off-road bikes. So those are limited to the trails up by Bayfield and just off HWY 54 on the west side of the state (don't recall the trail system name).

Another very good option is Upper Michigan. In the UP you do need to buy the ORV sticker ($16 or close to that) and then you can ride on any trail in the UP. It is possible to ride off-road from Ontanogan all the way to St. Ignace on all sorts of trails from logging roads to rail grades to single track, and some is pretty technical.
