K1300S switch recall trouble??

wmubrown

Chairman of the hoard
I brought my K1300S into the shop three weeks ago to have the recalls done (reprogramming, front brake reservoir, and switches). The switches had to be ordered because they were not in stock. Last weekend I went back so the switch recall could be completed. Now I've noticed that in 6th gear, the '6' gear indicator blinks. Randomly, not like its a notification. I shifted down to 5th gear and ran a mile or two and didn't notice any blinking, shifted back to 6th and a short time (a few minutes) it was blinking again. Has anyone else experienced this? Looks like I'll be making a return trip to the dealer... maybe its just a loose wire somewhere. The best I know, it did not do this prior to the service but I don't see how the service could cause this.

Never seen that happen.

maybe check the connector on the back of the instrument panel.

Let us know what they say if you bring it in
