Yeah, it is, isn't it. And all it took was "Fouga" and "San Luis Obispo" to get it. I drove by the hangar this afternoon after work; it wasn't there.

That old 880 is almost a "regional" jet by today's standards.
 
This last summer on our Circle Tour of Lake Superior we spent two nights at the old K.I. Sawyer base south of Marquette Michigan.

This Russian cargo jet has been stranded there for 7 years or so.
