What is the "one" skill that you are going to work on this year?

Looking where I want to go. This is a VERY effective tool. If you look where you don't want to go, well then, you may just go there!

Cutting down on the number of performance awards.

Hoping I still just make the qualification portion and not the award ceremonies..

also hope the CLoaking device works more effectively

I'd like to better my skills with the GS in more challenging terrain and in conditions like mud, ruts, etc.

I'm looking forward to "re-learning" to ride a bike with drum brakes, no horsepower and no farkles. :dance

Being more tolerant of Beemer Geeks.

This will be a huge challenge because so many are complete idiots.

...ummmm...
What exactly does your posting mean?
What is a Beemer Geek?
Who are the idiots?

Please do not start a fight.
I do not want the mods to yank this thread.
This thread is what it is-only messages on what things riders want to improve on.

Ride safe.

This year I'm workin' on.....

Slow speed maneuvers.

I bought a copy of Motorman's dvd "Ride like a Pro", then bought 6 tennis balls which I immediately cut in half. I'll be using his exercises to develop better skills at slow speeds.

I want to work on making sure I log more miles this year then I did last year! The weather HAS TO break soon so I can get out there and begin logging those miles.

Smoothly keeping both wheels exactly where I want them to be on the pavement while negotiating higher-speed, tight-radius turns.

especially for riding near the big Rallies where slower( controlling) riders dislike the notion of waving folks around or sliding right a pinch...and you know who you are :love

Old thread revival subject :fight

:dance I'm done:wave

I will be concentrating really hard on keeping my unblemished OHIO driver's license which has not had a ticket in 5 years (on the basis of the fact that I was overseas the past five years).:dance
More seriously, hope to take the K1 to a track day or two and maybe do a school so I can continue to work on riding with my legs and not my butt through the twisties in this world..
Cheers
Andres
