The trans america ride for ak tenamit

HELLO FELLOW BMW RIDERS!

This is my first post and I would like to tell you about the ride I am planning for June 2010:

I will depart on June 1, 2010 from Washington, DC and ride 3,000 milea across the USA to Seattle,WA where I plan to arrive three weeks later. I have called it the TRANS AMERICA RIDE FOR AK??TENAMIT, because it is meant to raise funds for a community in the rain forest of eastern Guatemala.
Ak??Tenamit is home to 500 students from more than 100 impoverished villages and depends on donations for feeding, clothing and educating the students.
To know more about this humanitarian project, please follow this URL to their website: http://aktenamit.org/

I will visit as many Rotary Clubs as possible to present Ak??Tenamit , especially those who may want to donate funds to Ak??Tenamit.

I would also like to visit motorcycle clubs and meet fellow riders and hopefully some of you will join my ride for a day or longer.

So dust off your bikes and let??s ride for Ak??Tenamit!!
