I want to ride like that!

We're headed two-up from Virginia Beach. Booked Ted's Sherpa service on Sunday night. Have to call and make sure he's got us on his list. We're going around the long way via Richmond and up through PA instead of up the Eastern Shore. Hopefully, less traffic that way. Leaving for Richmond area tonight and then on the road in the am. I look forward to seeing you all up there, particularly Chromeheads.

we're now in Monson, Mass visiting with friends and heading for the rally tomorrow. So see you there:wave Looks like this is going to be a great time for all. - Bob and Mary

I've got my R11RS (mostly) packed. Early tomorrow three other fellers and I are heading towards the RA rally. We figure to arrive around mid-day on Thursday. Our route home promises to be a bit indirect - that should be interesting.

Heading out tomorrow morning for my IB ride of about... 1.25 hours! Rt. 2 to Williamstown then North on Rt. 7.

Big fricking fields and building on the left. Can't miss it? You haven't ridden with ME! :help

Cheers,

The dog and me are leaving late Friday morning. Will probably do VT 100 all the way down to 9, so I'm thinking 5 or 6 hours with gas and frisbee breaks!

Oh, and I'll be bringing another 150 pots worth of high test coffee for the YB crowd to brew and serve!

Pete

Looks like a lot of bikes on the road in the A.M. I'm leaving Braintree around 6. Haven't decided on a route. Following the GPS can be amusing.

HI Pete

I'm sure that you don't remember me, but it was nice to meet you and the dog. Sweet ride, and what a great riding partner.

Pete,

Good to meet you and the pup. He is a really terrific pal...and so well behaved!

Did you wind up getting the Glendas for the sidecar?

Mr. Not So Happy is Sad the Rally is over! And that the RA Crew decided to tow away the showers in the middle of the night on Saturday and not on Sunday morning. :banghead

Who 'dat?

On the Grand Central Parkway East on a blue KGT, Sunday evening. Maybe heading home from the RA rally? Was that you? :wave

Scott (and all who showered Barley with affection)

It was a great experience, and I owe all of you a huge thanks for helping Barley recover from the depression he fell into after the death by cancer of his playmate, Tuppence the Wonderbitch, a couple of months ago.

It's good to see my companion finding joy in life again.

Warmest regards,
Pete

Thanks! I really love that dog! He's had a couple of tough breaks that had him a bit blue, but the trip to Ontario with me, and again to the RA Rally with all those wonderful folks being so nice to him, really snapped him out of the doldrums.

Our next trip will be to Goldstock (a gathering of goldens) in northern PA over the Labor Day weekend. It looks like more than 200 golden retrievers will attend, but my bet is only one will arrive in a sidecar!

I thought the Clearwater lights were not meant to be. They were having a really difficult time with Mike's 800GS, and didn't finish him till 9pm on Saturday. So I left a bit bummed out. But I got an email from them offering to do the install right here in my hometown in a couple of weeks when they will be here for the antique car show!

So I'm going to get the larger/brighter Krista's. Cool, huh?:dance

Pete
