Snowy Pictures Here

Kevin,

That looks like Chatanika Lodge. Do you ride your machines out there from Fairbanks or trailer them and ride from the lodge?

Rinty, here is a shot of the ski school at Club Med, Copper Mountain. I am in there (Back row, far left.) Not as good as the photos you posted! But hey....there is a bit of snow in the photo!

Thank you; it was one of those insane, perfect, days.

You must have had some great times, with that group.

My brother spent many years in Breckenridge, and avoided getting swallowed up in the Devil's Triangle. He lived within gliding distance of the base of Chair 6.

I did have some great times with this group. I still stay up with many of them and many are still in the ski business. There was a lot of hard living, about as much as my body could endure. At the Club you pretty much ski/teach all day and party with the guests most of the night. I was the second oldest guy in this wild bunch.

I took my full cert. PSIA test at Breckenridge many years ago. I recall a run known as Devil's Crotch. it must have been part of Devil's Triangle. Good for your brother living in Breck! What is he up to these days?

...as much as my body could endure...

I get tired just thinking about the partying we did in those days. :laugh I had my CSIA Level I, and was on the ski patrol as well, so there were many nights on hill.

The Devil's Triangle in Breckenridge was the area between Fatty's, Angels Rest, and Seamus O'Toole's saloons. :D My brother's been back in Canada for many years. He's sort of retired, and does construction work part time.

Here's another snow shot, with my daughter Bri and a friend:

This is at Sunshine Village on Wawa Ridge with Mt. Bourgeau behind us, and Goats Eye Mountain in the right background.

Great photo! Thanks for posting. My daughter's name is Briana, mostly known as Bree to her friends and family. Very similar to your daughter's name. Thanks for the information about Breck. My partying days are behind me. I find fun and entertainment in different areas these days.

Too big for the car

The guy driving the car said he will never take his wife along again

We ride them. We try to go out a couple of times a year for a "Chicken Run". The lodge serves all you can eat Chicken on Sundays.

"snow" pictures

There's more than one way to ride in the snow! I've discovered the fun of riding a Mountain Bike in the snow:)
