Let's see 'em.
We have three or four recipes we usually make each year. I grew up with the ginger molasses cookies (almost bitter but oh so sweet). Recipe coming. Erin grew up with...
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup anise seeds
1. Cream sugar and butter
2. Add Beaten eggs
3. Combine baking powder, salt, flour, anise
4. Mix wet and dry ingredients
5. chill dough, 2 hours+
6. create balls of dough (an inch or less), roll in cinnamon sugar, press flat on cookie sheet.
7. bake 6 to 10 minutes, 400??F. Keep an eye on them, they can burn easily.
p.s. Before someone beats me to the punch, I am a stupid stupid head.
p.p.s. If it makes anyone feel better, call them holiday cookies.
