Any further word on this? I for one will probably be in line for one. Any news, rumors, etc? Don't hear anything in the Big Litterbox, aka IRAQ:bikes

I saw a pretty cool custom BMW bobber style bike at the show in San Mateo. I relaly liked it a lot & would love to build one. I may do that after finishing up the 32...

I havenÔÇÖt seen anything further on the Lo Rider coming to market. Keep in mind this was a two part concept including a new business/production/sales concept as well as the concept bike itself. It wouldnÔÇÖt take much to pick one of the bike variants and bring it to market. However; bringing the total Lo Rider concept is a much more complicated matter.

I am not certain I would be in line for the bike but I sure would like some of the parts.

KBasa; nice to see you posting more frequently! Good to have you back online.

Dave, thats beautiful, I'd put it in the hall way, and ride it a few times a year, it is just stunning!

I really hope that BMW do bring the Lo-Rider concept to market. I think it will be a huge success, every one of my friends wants one, and we all have different specs we want it in based on the original sketches shown above. I am certain it will be a huge success for them.

(I want the red motor - cafe racer style one, but with different low pipes and a Guzzi Le Mans Mkl type bullet nose.)

Well you could ride her to the pub to make the HD boy look and wish they had one:buds
It's like a lovely lady even looks good from the back side:D

Hideous

that is even more ugly than the harley bobber. jmho,,,, jp

Regarding Dave's wet dream

Hideous?

Not to my eye. In fact it has a lean, elemental charm to it. But I still have to ask, what do you do with it?

No front fender, minimal rear fender: better not ride it on an overcast day, might rain. Better look out for road debris as well.

Comically over sized front rubber. Better stay away from the curves - it'll be a wrestling match to heel it over.

Rigid rear end and weird ergos - better not go too far from home.

Could trailer it to the drag strip - but that power plant probably doesn't produce much more than 50 hp. Might be embarrassing.

Macfly said it; put it in your living room and look at it. It's eye candy (or maybe moto porn?)

What it is not, is a rider's bike, and thereby, not truly a BMW.

It is truly a BMW, but truly a different type of BMW! Likes it I do.
