Just an F700GS
I have no other information on this group, but the opposition to ABS is a classic example of the AMA protecting someone other than American Motorcyclists. Protecting your right to not wear a helmet or have ABS is a counterproductive goal for a motorcyclist organization.
Adventure riders would be protected by ABS on the road and frustrated by it in certain off road conditions.
The Spitfire video was interesting.
Never a disappointed read.
The Kevin Cameron H1 article brings back memories of the days of having more money than brains.
Didn't have many miles on the H1 but my H2 had "knife in the back" handling.
We tried to fix the handling issues with expensive shocks, fork spring modifications, frame shims, steering dampeners and various tire designs. The bad handling didn't stop us from making the ill handing beast into a faster ill handling beast with pipes, stacks and porting making the crashes even more spectacular.
Thanks again for the postings.
On On.

How? Slid down a few mountain dirt roads in a Pick-up with ABS and it did a very nice of grabbing for all the traction it could.
IMHO, with 4 or 2 wheel vehicles, the ABS and traction control systems are better drivers than me.
The Spitfire video was interesting.
Ha, the German planes were fuel injected.
