The 'Olde Bike Club' is having it's 5th annual Sunday rally Sept.27 at Meeman Shelby Forest just north of Memphis Tn.. This an all day affair with several activities planned in cluding a BBQ picnic. This is a beautiful park resting on the 3rd Chickasaw Bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. The Shelby Forest General Store is mentioned for a lunch stop. shelbyforestgeneralstore.com. . Found my brouchere on Meeman-Shelby State Park. The event is being held at Shelter #1 ,which is next to Piersol Lake. Most likely U will go past the park hq,so stop to get more info, if U need directions . If your trying to find the park from Memphis, probably best to take US 51 N , then take N. Watkins north. At the end of N. Watkins take a left which will tke U to the General Store, turn right at the store go north and follow the signs to the visitor center.
