Smile Suggestions for interesting back roads from MA to NC?

I'm riding to NC to visit my brother next mon 17th. I usually take 84 to 81 and buzz south. I've got a few extra days and my wifes coming with me so I'd like to take some back roads through West Viginia and Virginia. They don't have to be too twisty just scenic. We went to the Nat Rally in WY last year and did 7000 mi in 18 days. I told my wife this would be a slower pace.
    Thanks for Any tips.

I like Rt 15 South of Harrisburg, PA, though not a "back road". We did "Blue Ridge Mountain Road" in VA on the way to the National this year. Way cool. Nice view, huge houses, great twisties, and some sort of high security government facility all on that road...

It runs between RT 340 and Rt 50 in Upperville, VA. Starts at N39 06.953 W77 50.736

If this route doesn't put you too far west consider Rt 220 from the NY border to Rt 64 in VA. From that point work your way over to Rt 219 and continue south. Taswell to Marion, VA is a real treat.

Get to Berkley Springs WV and then take 9 to 50 to 220 and stay on 220 the hole way down or take 39 in warm springs over to 219 then down. Try to catch the road up to the Cass Scenic railroad and Snow Shoe mountain and you will have no regrets, I promise except being a little dizzy from all the twisties.
