Just read, on this forum, that National rally is going to be moved to April in stead of July. I know it is hot in Texas but changing to April? BTW where is Llano??

Where did you read that? For 2010, the rally is going to be in Redmond, OR, not Texas. It will still be in July, last I heard.

Ah! I see the confusion, now.

The BMWMOA National Rally for 2010 is in Redmond, OR in July.

The BMWRA hasn't announced their location/date yet, though rumors suggest it's going to be in the northeast.

As for the "Texas National Rally", I think it's an unfortunate name or thread title. It looks like it's just a rally being organized by some Texas BMWMOA members/clubs. In short, it may say "Texas National Rally", but it's NOT the "BMWMOA National Rally".

Hope that clears things up!

Dude...an unfortunate name? This is a longstanding Texas Rally...remember we used to be our own nation as well!:stick..It was posted under the regional forums... No confusion intended...just the way it is.

not utopia

Utopia TX is a "dry" area - no beer tents allowed. Not a good place for a rally but a great place to ride. It also hasn't rained much in the last 20 months.

They have always wanted to be their own country.

Not certain but what Llano is a mistyped Plano?

No, Llano is in Central TX...west of Austin, north of San Antonio...Plano is east Dallas!

and as stated below...Texas was it's own country before becoming part of the Union. That's why we can fly the state flag at same height as the US banner.

Republic of Texas

[QUOTEThat's why we can fly the state flag at same height as the US banner.[/QUOTE]

And that's why our State Capital is taller than the US capital.

and not to be contentious, but if the United States of America is succesfuly led down the socialist path and it becomes un-American to trust in God, maybe we should be a souverign nation again.
