Hello!

I just bought my first BMW, a 2004 R1150RT. I've wanted one for a long time. My only regret is that we've had 100F temperatures since Memorial Day, so my riding tends to be limited to the AM.

I hope the link works.

Hey Mark. I've only been here for a few months and have found the forum entertaining and educational. Nice photos of your new ride, btw. I really like that color. I'm in Kingwood and you'll find there are several people from the Houston area on the forum. Welcome aboard.

If you're interested, there's a Houston BMW club meeting Thursday August 13 at Hickory Hollow near the Heights.

Welcome Mark. Thanks for posting pics of your bike.

Sorry to hear that the weather is so brutal that you can not ride. We will look forward to ride reports in December when the rest of the country is frozen over. :laugh

Get hooked up with the local club. You will enjoy the company of other BMW riders.

Welcome to the forum Mark.

A few of places you should be aware, if not, are the OIL HEAD for bike specific information, GEAR for equipmenmt specific items, and your specifc Regional forum for "local" events to you.
