Roadcrafter, or Darien?

I have come to the conclusion that motorcycles are not a means of transportation but an excuse to buy gear. The Gear forum is the place to come if you have a question on which gear to buy. In 2003 RickM wanted to buy some gear. He started a thread we have yet to give the final answer to. We donÔÇÖt find out what Rick finally purchased but in looking at this early forum thread you will see why the thread and the Gear Forum are examples of the Best of the Forum.
