Not so much interest in what's at the rally site as what are the good local restaurants and bars? Where's the best BBQ? Where else should I go for great food within say 100 mile radius?

Thanks!!

There is a place in Johnson City called 'Cootie Brown's' and I know I'll eat there at least once. Good food at very good prices, and the margarita's were decent last time I was there.

Didn't know they had Pork in Texas just that slow smoked beef brisket substitute for pork is all I ever found!

For lunch, try The Mustard Seed in downtown Gate City, VA.

Where were you in April when 18 of us did the Ride-2-Q . Vision, SIBUD, The Veg. 308 Nut, myself and the rest rode threw three states looking for the best Q. and we found it!!! ask one of us at the Rally, and we'll give you some suggestions. :thumb

Why don't you just go to a GoldWing convention? I think that's how they pick out their rally sites, according to the proximity and quantity of IHOPs, Dennys, Old Country Buffets and rib joints.
