hard wiring in a radar cord

Just bought a power cord for my radar detector and would like to hook it direct as it has a built in fuse on the cord and was wondering if anyone knows how to hook it up properly or where to find the info online. I have a 2007 K1200S.
thanks

If the KS is like the KGT there should be a GPS connector by the right side of the battery. It has 3 wires, one ground, one canbus power and one for the speed option on the GPS. BMW sells a pigtail and then you can hook it up to switched power. Hope this helps.
