The Dam Ride

Had a great ride today. North Dakota is finally seeing spring, 70 degrees and hardly any wind, a rarity here. Left Mandan for an hour or so ride and ended up going around most of Lake Sakakawea, 380 or so miles. Across Garrison Dam and into the breaks of the Little Missouri. Seen all kinds of critters from badgers to bald eagles. Still a few snowbanks here and there, but overall a fantastic day to be on my RT. Everyone enjoy the spring.

Sounds like a perfect day ride in the spring with the world waking up after winter. We still have snow in the ditches too - especially as you head west towards the foothills of the Rockies. Those trips with no planned destination work out to be the most memorable somehow. :wave
