Climax, Texas

Tejas vs. Texas

Always more than one answer to almost everything, right?:

The Spanish pronounce it [Texas] "Tejas" and it simply means "Texas" with no particular meaning attached.

"Texas" as written has no meaning in Spanish. "Tejas" as it sounds means Spanish-style tiles usually terra cotta on the roofs of colonial villages. This might or might not be the reason why Texas received this name when it was founded.

And perhaps related to Climax, TX could be Melissa, TX or Anna, TX, or maybe even Honey Grove, TX

Unrelated - I hope - would be Cut Hand, TX

Just shows there's a lot to Texas....

I notice you're from Round Rock, Texas; what towns in Texas can you associate with that name? That is, are there similar names such Flat Rock or Big Rock, Tx.?
Just a thought....

There is Enchanted Rock just North of Fredericksburg. A fun place to visit. You can get some exercise climing it if you like and then ride Willow City Loop on your way back.
