Kings River Wilderness,Saturday 11th;

Going in there to GS about and fish the wild upper Kings River this Saturday, maybe even an overnight campout. Leaving early(Sunrise) on Saturday from my home East of Clovis 12 miles. Its quite nice in there and i rode it this past Sunday. Need a GS, as I will ride some dirt for a dozen or so miles to find the BIG fish. Trout should be hungry after a good winter rest....Randy

Might check your CA DFG regs. I could be wrong, but I believe trout season will still be closed on Saturday.

If I'm wrong, please be sure to post a ride/fishing report with emphasis on fishing!

Fishing reports I've been listening to on my AM radio have been talking trout in various lakes already. BUT, I'll check to be sure, when I go for my new license tomorrow. New signs are posted at the Upper Kings R. already stating a two catch limit, due to its status as a wild river. CA still has a few. Otherwise catch and release to your hearts content. I hope its open and if not, I'll scout the river some more for the future days do'in it. The ride in there is exceptional right now and GS heaven....Randy...PS; I'll celebrate my "Easter Sunrise" in a cool spot on Earth, reflections...
