I picked this one up a little over a month ago. Still getting use to it as I am coming off a 2005 R1200 RT.

Just picked this up a week ago. Traded in 2005 R1200RT. Had the RT only about 6 months before I decided I needed the 4 cylinders. :)

2008 k1200gt

I previously posted a picture of my previous 08 but I thought I would share my current one, just recently got it put back together. 2008 with 15000 miles, K1200S wheels powder coated matte black, painted the side panels and rack matte black to match the wheels, Cee Bailey tinted sport shield, Remus exhaust, and finally a Corbin seat just because it looks so nice.

K1300S tires

To BC1100S in response to tires used...
I found the original Metzlers and the Z6 I replaced them with did not last more than 6,000 miles. Am running Michelin Pilot Road 4 frot and rear. They stick very well and the rear typically has gotten 12-14,00 miles. Front went 18,000 miles. The current front has 12,000 miles and going well. My next set of tires is going to be the new Dunlop Roadsmart III. A friend has them on and really likes them.

My Bike

This bike was in pristine condition, but in December when I went to load it on my trailer, I slipped and it fell on the chain holding the tail gate. The fairing and front bumper got scratched. I had a laminate made with a gradient going from black to bmw blue. It covered the damage nicely.

The blue looks great, reminds me of my 89K100RS special edition which was white/blue. Sorry, this photo hides the blue paint on the tank and fairing but you get the idea.
