Lately I have been thinking about fabricating a sort of "packboard" for my 90/6.
My machine is equipped with a very short Krauser luggage rack and a Reynolds passenger backrest. What I am trying to do is use a flat piece of material that would attach to the rack (U-bolts I suppose) extend back 5 inches or so beyond the rack with a width about 24"slightly less than that of the attached Krauser bags. Several slots, holes cleverly placed for strap attachments. Perhaps Aluminum, plywood or?
The purpose is not to carry more weight but to make the support and attachment of the bags I carry simpler and more secure.
Has anyone previously invented this wheel?
