My trip to Laguna Seca...Finally

Good job. Nice pics. I've allways thought the R1100RS was the best looking Oilhead. I've got a '94. Thx for sharing.

Nothing interesting between Alturas and Monterey?

How can you do that? I5? If so, you missed some pretty excellent riding along with way. I would have headed south to Susanville, then south along the Sierras, then crossed over the central valley and come into Monterey from the west on 152 or G16 through Carmel Valley.

Yes I missed some good riding but...

I went from Oroville to Lodi on the interstate.

Then from Lodi to Salinas on the interstate.

Then from Salinas to Long Beach, again on the interstate.

And to Vegas, you guessed it, on the interstate.

This was alll done in the name of time managment.

I used to live in California, and I have been to Laguna many times and ridden many of the roads around there.

I even found a super secret back road where there is a littel town with a little town bar that still sells drafts for $1.00.

But if I told you where that was...
