Tourguard needs cleaning

How do you wash a Tourguard jacket? I know that there seems to be a kit you can get from a BMW dealer. I want to wash before the season starts in Michigan.

Nikwax products are the best, and can be found at any good outdoor store. Wash with Nikwax Tech Wash, then follow up with a cycle of TX Direct Wash In waterproofing.

Remove the armour, wash once with each product on the hand wash cycle. Spin dry only with NO fabric softener. Hang to dry and then replace the armour.

Since I've used this routine old grubby jackets come out like new.
